Cover Design

Here’s a sneak peek at my initial ideas when I redesigned my covers. I liked my old designs, but I wanted to better fit the trends of urban fantasy and got the opportunity to collaborate with my fantastic teacher from the Art Institute Jonathan Hunt.

Original Cover Design:

The cover was beautiful but a bit too generic. It still sold well and got compliments, but I wanted to expand and personalize the design more. So I sketched the idea below.

Now if you have a look at the final version you will see some things were left off the final design, but there are some great Easter eggs in it that you may have not noticed before as well.

Sketches

Here are some more recent sketches and drawings that I have worked on! You can see that one of my major influences when it comes to art is Japanese animation, better known as anime/manga today.

I also love to draw in other cartooning styles! Here are some examples of some various sketches I did while streaming with Drawstone on Twitch! Some were with a reference, and some were not.
