I just launched my small businesses site –also built in wordpress like yours– but the
theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

So sorry for the delayed response. This site gets more spam than a grocery store so it sometimes takes awhile to get through the murk to the real comments.
My website was set up by my friend, you can contact her at https://tinydogmedia.com/ if you’d like to find out how she set it up for me. I basically only have to update the blog and I can change the pictures, but that’s the limit to my website set up knowledge.
